Freejobearn com does not load at all. On 17 September 2026 the domain returns no address on either Google or Cloudflare public DNS, so no web server answers it. The Internet Archive’s last capture, from March 2025, is a redirect to a parking page. Trustpilot lists the business as closed.
Which is a strange thing to be able to say about a phrase that Indians type into Google well over a million times a month. The search demand is enormous and entirely real. The website on the other end of it stopped existing somewhere around early 2025, and almost nobody writing about it seems to have noticed, because the pages ranking for the name are automated “trust score” generators that rate a site without ever checking whether the site is there.
Is freejobearn com still working today?
No. We ran the checks on 17 September 2026 and every one of them says the same thing, which does not happen often enough in this line of work.
| Check | What it returned | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| A and AAAA records via Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8) | Name exists, no address returned | Nothing to connect to |
| A and AAAA records via Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) | Same, no address | Not a local or ISP level block |
| NS records | Two Cloudflare nameservers | The domain is still registered and parked on DNS, just not pointed anywhere |
| Direct request to the home page | Host not found | The site cannot be opened by anyone |
| Last Internet Archive capture | 4 March 2025, a redirect to a ww1 parking subdomain | By then it was already an advertising shell, not a job site |
| Last capture of the working site | 22 April 2024 | That is the most recent day anyone can prove it functioned |
| Trustpilot page | Marked closed, reviews locked, four reviews in total | Trustpilot’s own system concluded the business is gone |
That middle row is the interesting one. A domain that redirects to a ww1 subdomain with a tracking parameter on the end is not a website having a bad day. That is the standard signature of a parked domain being sold for advertising traffic, which is what happens when the people running something walk away but the search demand keeps arriving. Somebody was still monetising the name in March 2025. By now even that has stopped.

What did freejobearn com actually promise?
The archived copy from March 2024 is a complete museum of the Indian online earning pitch. Free joining, no targets, no time limit, daily payout, and a menu of six task types: data entry, captcha entry, typing, surveys, ad posting and SMS sending. It described itself as a genuine website of a registered company, without naming the company anywhere, and gave an address in T Nagar, Chennai with no registration number attached to it.
The published rates, straight off the archived pages:
| Task it advertised | Rate it published | What that multiplies out to | Independent check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Captcha entry | Rs 8 per captcha | Rs 8,000 per 1,000 captchas | 2Captcha’s own worker page publishes $0.14 to $0.6 per 1,000 normal captchas, and $1 per 1,000 for reCAPTCHA v2, checked 17 September 2026 |
| Data entry | Rs 15 per entry, 100 entries assigned daily | Rs 1,500 a day, roughly Rs 39,000 a month | No client or buyer is named anywhere on the archived site, so the money has no stated source |
| Online survey | Rs 400 to Rs 500 per survey | Two surveys clears a week of minimum wage in most states | No survey panel or research firm is named as the one commissioning it |
| Typing assignment | Rs 250 per assignment | Four assignments is Rs 1,000 | Same, no named client |
| SMS sending | Rs 1 to Rs 5 per SMS | 200 messages a day is Rs 200 to Rs 1,000 | Regulated, not merely optimistic. See the section below |
| Ad posting | Rs 10 per ad posted | Rs 300 for 30 ads | No client named |
One more detail worth having, because it is the sort of thing that only turns up when you read the whole site instead of the landing page. The home page said earnings could be withdrawn daily. The How it work section on the same page said weekly. The payout page said every day, and set a minimum balance of Rs 500. A business that cannot keep its own withdrawal rule consistent across three paragraphs is not a business that has a finance department.
Kya yeh rates possible bhi the?
Take the captcha rate, because it is the only one of the six where the real market publishes its prices in public and anyone can go and look.
Rs 8 per captcha means Rs 8,000 for a thousand of them. 2Captcha, one of the largest services actually buying solved captchas, published its worker rates this morning: $0.14 to $0.6 per 1,000 for normal captchas, and a fixed $1 per 1,000 for reCAPTCHA v2. For Rs 8,000 and $1 to be the same money, the rupee would have to be trading at about 8,000 to the dollar. It is not, and if it were, captcha work would be the least of anyone’s problems.
We ran the same arithmetic in detail in our piece on what captcha earning apps actually pay: at the published rates, a thousand captchas an hour, every hour, is worth somewhere between Rs 13 and Rs 95. The gap between that and Rs 8,000 is not a margin of error. It is the whole product.
Ab yahan ek important baat hai. A rate that cannot be paid does not automatically mean money is being stolen. It usually means the number is there to get you through the signup form, and what happens after that is where the actual business model lives.
What do people who signed up for these jobs actually report?
We read fourteen individual accounts across four platforms: four Trustpilot reviews of freejobearn.com itself, one Reddit thread with its comments, two complaints on India Consumer Forum, and five dated entries on Consumer Complaints. Only the Trustpilot ones name freejobearn. The rest are about portals running the identical free joining model, and we are flagging that distinction rather than blurring it.
- On Trustpilot, freejobearn.com collected four reviews across four years. One from July 2022 calls it a fake site in four words. One from the same month complains only that the registration and login options were missing. The other two, from February and July 2024, are five and four stars and say nothing at all about being paid.
- A complaint on India Consumer Forum from a reader in Raipur drew 63 comments describing the same sequence at a portal called nextprowfh across 2023 and 2024: work completed, then a membership fee of Rs 1,399, then a transfer fee of Rs 3,199 to Rs 3,347 before the salary could be released. The salary never arrived.
- A second India Consumer Forum complaint, from Nathdwara in Rajasthan, describes Rs 2,200 paid as a registration charge for converting scanned novel pages into text, followed by payment being postponed to tomorrow, repeatedly.
- On Consumer Complaints, the dated entries run older, 2021 and 2022, and describe the reverse move: a worker in Bagalkot who finished a week and got nothing, a worker in Ghaziabad who paid a Rs 29 form fee and then found an OTP being generated on their account without permission, and one whose completed work was held behind a Rs 690 release payment.
- The freshest account is the least like the others. A post on r/india from 5 July 2026 describes a recruitment call, a video meeting with 500 participants all muted, then a WhatsApp group, then instructions to open a demat account through an app link that led to a mainstream broker. No fee was ever asked for. Two commenters in August 2026 said they had received the same call.
Where the accounts agree: nobody in any of them describes being paid a per task rate anywhere near what was advertised. Where they cut against each other: two of the four Trustpilot reviews are positive, and the archived payout page carried a long list of names, masked phone numbers and amounts from Rs 600 to Rs 3,600 presented as recent payments. We cannot verify a single entry on that list, and neither can you, which is rather the point of publishing it in that form.
Treat all of this as testimony, not evidence. These are what people report, not findings, and no regulator has published a ruling on freejobearn.com that we could locate. What has changed in 2026 is the ask: the Reddit account describes a funnel that never mentions a fee at all and goes straight for a financial account instead. Our piece on the job offer that wants your bank account covers where that road ends.
Why is an SMS sending job a problem even when it pays?
This is the row in the table that nobody warns about, and it is the one with an actual rule attached.
Sending commercial messages from your own SIM, on behalf of somebody else, makes you an unregistered telemarketer under the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India‘s commercial communication regulations. TRAI’s published enforcement ladder is specific: a warning on the first violation, then a usage cap for six months on the second, which limits the number to twenty outgoing calls and twenty outgoing messages a day, and on the third, disconnection of all telecom resources of the sender.
So the deal on offer was Rs 1 to Rs 5 per message, against your phone number, which is attached to your bank, your UPI, your Aadhaar authentication and every OTP you will ever receive. Nobody sending those messages is going to be paying your bill while the number sits capped at twenty texts a day.

Site band ho gayi, toh ab kya karein?
If you registered on freejobearn.com at some point and are wondering what to do now that it has vanished, the practical list is short.
- Do not pay anyone claiming to release a pending balance from it. A dead site cannot owe you money through a WhatsApp number, and a recovery fee is its own separate scam.
- If you used the same password anywhere else, change it there. That is the one piece of real exposure from a signup form on a site that is now gone.
- If you lost money to any portal of this kind, report it at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or on the 1930 helpline, and do it fast, because the chance of a freeze on the receiving account drops sharply with time. We have written out the full reporting process step by step, and what recovery realistically looks like afterwards.
- Be careful with lookalikes. The traffic to a name this large does not disappear, it gets caught by other sites running the same template. One live site we checked on 17 September 2026 advertises Rs 10 to Rs 50 per data entry task, pays in credits rather than rupees, and gives you three attempts before a task stops counting.
And if what you actually wanted was online work rather than this specific website, the good news is that the legitimate end of this market pays less than Rs 15 per entry but pays it reliably and in public. Start with our online income ladder for India, then read the honest version of what data entry work from home really involves and why Rs 200 per page typing jobs never materialise. The pattern recognition transfers to the next site with this business model, and there will be a next one.
