A paytm cash earning app in the old sense, one that drops cash into your Paytm wallet, barely exists now: Paytm Payments Bank wallets stopped taking credits on 15 March 2024 and its licence was cancelled in April 2026. What still works is an app that pays by UPI or bank transfer, which you can then use in Paytm.

4. An app says it pays “via UPI, Paytm, PhonePe or GPay”. Where does the money actually land?
A UPI transfer goes to the bank account behind your UPI ID; Paytm is one app you can spend it from. The RBI FAQ is why the old wallet cannot receive it. Read the section

5. How many task based job and investment fraud websites did the Home Ministry say it had blocked in December 2023?
Over 100, per the PIB release from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which describes the small paid tasks then deposit pattern. Read the section
That is the short version. The long version is a table, because the question people actually type, Paytm mein paisa dene wala app kaunsa hai, deserves names and sources, not a listicle that copied the Play Store descriptions. We read each app’s own help or prize page on 19 October 2026, and five Reddit threads from June to October 2026 where people described what happened when they tried to cash out.
Paytm wallet mein paisa ab kyun nahi aata?
Because the wallet most people mean was issued by Paytm Payments Bank, and the regulator shut that tap. The RBI’s FAQ on the Paytm Payments Bank restrictions says that after 15 March 2024 you cannot top up or transfer money into that wallet or receive any credits other than cashbacks or refunds. You can still spend or withdraw what was already there.
Then, on 24 April 2026, the RBI cancelled the bank’s licence outright, as The Week and Business Standard reported at the time. One97 Communications, which runs the Paytm app, said its own services were not run in partnership with the bank and that UPI continues through other banks. So the Paytm app works. The old wallet, as a place an earning app can send money to, does not.
If you still have a balance in that old wallet, this part is not a joke: move it to your bank account from inside the app. The RBI FAQ says withdrawal up to the available balance is allowed.
Which apps still pay money that ends up in Paytm?
Here is what each app’s own pages said on the day we checked. We picked apps that Indian readers actually ask about and that publish a payout policy. Apps that publish nothing are not in the table, which is itself a finding.
| App | What it pays out, in its own help pages | Minimum stated | Wait stated | Reaches a Paytm user? | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Pay rewards | Cashback to your linked bank account | None stated | Within 7 business days | Yes, as money in the bank account, which Paytm UPI can then use | Google Pay Help |
| Paytm Gold Coins | Digital gold inside Paytm, 100 coins per Rs 1 of gold | 1,500 coins, about Rs 15 of gold | Instant, per Paytm | Inside Paytm, but as gold, not wallet cash | Paytm blog |
| CashKaro | NEFT to an Indian bank, or Amazon or Flipkart gift cards | Rs 250 confirmed cashback | Up to 7 days | Only via your bank; no UPI or Paytm on the help page | CashKaro help |
| Google Opinion Rewards | Google Play credit only | None stated | Credited in the app | No. Credit expires one year after it is earned | Opinion Rewards Help |
| Swagbucks | PayPal and gift cards, including Amazon.in | Rs 5,000 Amazon.in card costs 6,500 SB | Not stated on the prize page | No Paytm option on the page we read | Swagbucks prize page |
| AttaPoll | PayPal and gift cards on its India help page | Varies by method | Varies | No UPI or Paytm | our AttaPoll check |
| Toluna India | A 2018 India notice listed PayPal, Paytm and e vouchers | Not in the notice | Up to 8 weeks for PayPal and Paytm | Once, in 2018; today’s India catalogue not verified | Toluna India blog |
Two things jump out. First, none of the apps that publish a policy names a Paytm wallet today. Second, the ones that come closest to “money in Paytm” are payment apps rewarding you for using them, not apps paying you for work. Google Pay credits rewards to your bank account. Paytm itself pays you in Gold Coins, worth about 1 percent of most UPI payments, which turn into digital gold, not rupees in a wallet.
There is also a small contradiction worth knowing. Paytm’s own Gold Coins guide says the coins can only become digital gold and cannot be converted into cash, while a separate Paytm bill payment page mentions redeeming them as cashback to a bank account. We could not settle which is current, so treat the coins as gold until the app shows you a cash option.

What does “withdraw to Paytm” mean in an app listing?
Usually one of four things, and only one of them is fine. Store copy is cheap to write and rarely updated, so a description written in 2021 can still promise a wallet that has not accepted a rupee since March 2024.
| What the app says | What it usually means in October 2026 | Worth your time? |
|---|---|---|
| “Withdraw to Paytm wallet” | Either very old store copy, or a wallet that cannot receive credits since 15 March 2024 | Ask which wallet, then check |
| “Withdraw via UPI, Paytm, PhonePe, GPay” | A UPI transfer to your bank. The Paytm logo is decoration | Fine, if the app is real |
| “Redeem as Paytm cash voucher” | A gift code, often slow and capped | Read the minimum first |
| “Pay Rs 99 to unlock withdrawal” | The fee is the product | No. Stop here |
The UPI line is the honest one. If an app says it pays to UPI, the money goes to your bank, and Paytm is just one of the apps you can spend it from. That is also why captcha work, survey panels and most others never mention Paytm at all: they pay a bank, PayPal or a gift card.
Which payout route do you actually have?
Pick the one you can receive money on today. This tells you which kinds of app can reach you, not how much any of them pays.
Your choice stays on this device only. Nothing here estimates earnings.
What do people who tried to cash out actually report?
We read five Reddit threads posted between June and October 2026, about 90 comments in all, plus a sample of Paytm and UPI complaints on Voxya and Consumer Complaints, most of them older and about transfers rather than earning apps. What people report is testimony, not proof of what any app pays, and it is summarised in our words.
In an r/MakeMoneyIndia thread from late September 2026, a user asked about a Telegram bot promising Rs 5 per ad watched. The poster later called it fake, and two commenters in October 2026 said they tried it and could not withdraw. A bot that pays Rs 5 a view would be the most generous advertiser in the country, which is roughly the problem.
In an October 2026 thread on the Rambi app, a user who completed a task said there was no cash withdrawal at all. Another commenter said the app pays only in gift cards and that theirs arrived three days after redeeming. Same app, two experiences, both pointing away from Paytm.
In a September 2026 thread about a screen recording work app called Kuro, the poster said a withdrawal requested on 1 September 2026 arrived on 16 September. The bigger complaint in that thread was earning caps that did not rise, and one user said a PayPal payout arrived about Rs 100 short. Another commenter asked strangers to receive the payment on their own PayPal and pass it on by UPI. Do not accept requests like that: routing someone else’s money through your account can make you part of a fraud chain.
And in an r/UPI post from July 2026, a user said a prize won in a Paytm promotion arrived six months late. Paytm’s own rewards do pay, the thread suggests, just not on anyone’s schedule.
Where the accounts agree with the official pages: real payouts went to banks, PayPal or gift cards, never a Paytm wallet. Where they go further: waits of two weeks or more, and caps or deductions the store listing never mentioned. Nothing we read showed an app paying into a Paytm wallet in 2026.
Earning app asli hai ya nakli, kaise pehchane?
Start with the payout page, not the reviews. A real app publishes a minimum, a method and a wait, the way CashKaro states Rs 250, NEFT and up to 7 days. If the only payout information is a screenshot in a Telegram group, kuch toh gadbad hai. Our longer checklist is in earning app real hai ya fake.

The pattern the government has flagged looks exactly like the ad bot above. In December 2023 the Ministry of Home Affairs, through PIB, said it had blocked over 100 websites running task based part time job and investment frauds, which typically start with small paid tasks on WhatsApp or Telegram and end with requests to deposit money.
If you have lost money to one of these apps, call 1930, the national cyber fraud helpline, as early as possible, because early reports are what give a chance of freezing the transfer. Do not pay any fee to an “agent” who promises to recover it. Our guide to getting money back from an earning app covers what realistically happens next.
Is there any legitimate way to get small earnings into Paytm?
Yes, by the boring route. Pick work that pays a bank or PayPal, move it to your bank, and spend it through Paytm UPI like any other money. Our map of money earning apps in India sorts the categories that do pay from the ones that mostly pay in hope, and the AttaPoll review shows what one survey panel’s payout list looks like in practice.
Expect small numbers. A Rs 250 threshold, a seven day wait and 1 percent coin rewards are what the honest end of this market looks like. Anything faster, bigger and Paytm branded deserves suspicion before it deserves your phone number.
This page is general information from public help pages and regulator notices, not financial advice. Payout terms change without notice; check the app’s own payout page before you put time into it.
Frequently asked questions
Can any earning app still send money to my Paytm wallet?
Not to the Paytm Payments Bank wallet. The RBI barred new credits to it from 15 March 2024, apart from cashbacks and refunds, and the bank’s licence was cancelled in April 2026. Apps that pay by UPI send money to your bank, which you can use through Paytm.
Paytm Gold Coins ko cash mein badal sakte hain?
Paytm’s Gold Coins guide says they convert into digital gold once you have 1,500 coins and cannot be turned into cash. A separate Paytm page mentions bank cashback, so check what your app shows before counting on cash.
Is Google Opinion Rewards a Paytm cash app?
No. In India it pays Google Play credit, which you can spend only on Play purchases, and the credit expires one year after it is earned, per its help centre.
Kya Telegram wale earning bots se Paytm mein paisa aata hai?
In the threads we read, people who tried a Telegram ad watching bot in September and October 2026 said they could not withdraw. The government has blocked over 100 task fraud websites that worked this way.
What is the minimum withdrawal on CashKaro?
Rs 250 of confirmed cashback, paid by NEFT to an Indian bank account or as Amazon or Flipkart gift cards, according to its help page, with processing taking up to seven days.
What should I do if an earning app asks for a fee to release my withdrawal?
Do not pay it. A fee to unlock your own earnings is the standard shape of a task scam. If you have already paid, call 1930, the national cyber fraud helpline, as quickly as you can.
