AttaPoll Survey App in India: Payout, Screen Outs, Reviews

A young Indian woman uses the attapoll survey app on her phone while sitting on a Delhi rooftop.

The AttaPoll survey app is a real, paying survey service run by a London company, AttaPoll Ltd, and in India it pays out mainly through PayPal once you pass a minimum of about $3. The catch is not fraud but screen outs: its own help page says time spent in a survey you are disqualified from earns nothing.

Listen to this article, about 10 minutes. A synthetic voice reads the article and announces each section title as it begins; tables are read row by row and the questions at the end are left out.

Recorded 3 October 2026 from the article as published that day. Press a chapter to jump there; the highlighted line is what is playing. A play button sits beside every section heading, and once you scroll past this player a bar at the bottom of the screen keeps the controls in reach. Tap or click any sentence to hear the reading start from there.

On this page: what AttaPoll’s own terms and India help page say about payouts and screen outs, the $3 minimum worked through to rupees, and twelve dated user accounts sorted by what went wrong.

Think you already know this? Five questions, one minute.

Every answer is on this page. Answer from what you know now; the page fills in the rest.

  1. 1. Where is AttaPoll Ltd registered?

  2. 2. Roughly what is AttaPoll’s minimum withdrawal?

  3. 3. What does PayPal India say it adds when it converts a foreign currency payment?

  4. 4. What does AttaPoll pay for the time you spend in a survey that screens you out?

  5. 5. In the twelve dated accounts read for this page, which problem came up most often?

That answer was checked against AttaPoll’s own terms, its India help page and the UK company register on 3 October 2026. It is less exciting than the pages ranking for this app, most of which open with a daily rupee figure and close with a referral code. We have no code to offer, which frees us to tell you what the fine print says.

Who runs the AttaPoll survey app, and is it legit?

AttaPoll Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 10042842, incorporated on 4 March 2016 with a registered office at 60 Cannon Street, London. The Companies House record shows it as active, with accounts filed to 31 August 2025 and a confirmation statement dated 1 August 2026. That is what a functioning company looks like on paper, which already puts it ahead of many apps in this category.

On Google Play, checked on 3 October 2026 from an Indian store listing, the app shows a 4.7 rating from about 4.55 lakh reviews, more than 1 crore downloads and a last update on 1 September 2026. It never asks you for money. So the honest question is not whether AttaPoll is a scam. It is whether the time you put in turns into rupees often enough to be worth it, and that depends almost entirely on screen outs.

How much does the AttaPoll survey app pay, and how do you get it in India?

Here is what AttaPoll itself says today, row by row, with the page each line comes from. Nothing in this table is from a review site.

Notice what is missing for Indian users: UPI and Paytm. The Play listing mentions bank transfers and Revolut, but AttaPoll’s India help page names PayPal and gift cards, and an Indian MouthShut reviewer complained back in April 2020 that PayPal was the only cash route. So in practice, AttaPoll in India is a PayPal app. If you do not have a verified PayPal account with its KYC complete, sort that first, or your first $3 will sit in limbo.

The green tick in the app is the easy part. In India, PayPal KYC has to be done first.

What does the $3 minimum actually land as in rupees?

A worked example, with every input shown. Take the $3 minimum. At the reference rate of Rs 96.32 to the dollar on 2 October 2026 (crossed from the European Central Bank euro reference rates), $3 is Rs 288.96. If the payout arrives in dollars and PayPal converts it, the PayPal India fee page says its rate is 3.0 percent above the base exchange rate, which takes about Rs 8.67 off. Receiving and withdrawing to your bank carry no fee when there is no conversion.

StepAmount
Minimum balance in the app$3.00
At Rs 96.32 to the dollarRs 288.96
Less PayPal’s 3.0% conversion marginminus Rs 8.67
Roughly what reaches your bankRs 280
If AttaPoll pays you directly in rupees, the conversion line disappears. The exact rate on your payout day will differ.

Rs 280 is a cinema ticket, not a salary. How long it takes to get there depends on how many surveys you finish, and finishing is the hard part.

Why does AttaPoll keep disqualifying me?

Because you are not who the survey is looking for, and AttaPoll says so in plain words. Its help page explains that a survey screens you out when you are not a good demographic fit, when the company already has enough responses, or enough from people in your group or location. You can also be disqualified for getting a control question wrong. And the line every new user should read first: rewards are not given for time spent in a survey, only for responses the survey creator accepts as complete and valid.

The terms go further. Section 11 lists timers, duplicate and attention check questions, open text screening, device information and geo fencing as quality controls, and says failing them may mean disqualification, no reward or a closed account. Section 6 lets AttaPoll reverse a reward already credited if the survey owner later reports you did not meet its conditions. Section 10 bans VPNs, scripts and ad blockers. Matlab, jaldi jaldi click karke points banane wala shortcut seedha account band karwa sakta hai.

This is where the ranking reviews and the rule text part company:

What reviews usually implyWhat AttaPoll’s own text says
Every survey you start paysOnly accepted, complete responses are rewarded; screen out time earns nothing
A credited reward is yoursA reward can be reversed if the survey owner rejects the response later
You can earn steadily with a daily routineSurvey supply depends on demographic quotas that fill up
Your balance waits for youSix months of inactivity forfeits it

What do AttaPoll users in India actually report?

On 3 October 2026 we read every review on AttaPoll’s MouthShut page, nine accounts dated April 2020 to March 2026, most from Indian users, plus the three reviews Google Play shows on the app’s India listing, dated May and July 2026. Twelve accounts is a small sample, and MouthShut scores the app 2.44 from 9 votes while Play shows 4.7 from lakhs, so read this as a map of what goes wrong, not a verdict. Each account could fall into more than one bucket.

Twelve accounts read on MouthShut and the Google Play India listing, 3 October 2026. One positive review carried a referral code, which we have not repeated.

A few, paraphrased. In April 2020 a Ludhiana user wrote that after five or six months they still had not reached the then 300 point threshold, because most surveys screened them out and one or two arrived a day. In November 2022 a reviewer from Kankavli called it a real earning app, reported two withdrawals and still warned you will not qualify for every survey. In November 2025 a user reported the account was closed at $1.64, just short of cash out, with no reason given. In March 2026 an Indian reviewer said early payouts arrived and then stopped once the balance grew. And in July 2026 a Play reviewer described every survey from one research partner throwing an error for a week.

Where the accounts match the rule text, they are describing the rules working: screen outs that pay nothing, quotas that dry up. Where they do not, as with the closed accounts, we cannot tell from outside whether a quality check fired or something went wrong, and AttaPoll’s terms give it wide room to decide. Ye testimony hai, evidence nahi, and the 4.7 on Play says plenty of people are paid without drama.

AttaPoll worth it hai ya nahi, compared with other survey apps?

For pocket money, yes, if you treat it as a five minute habit rather than a job, and if you keep the app installed and use it at least once every six months. For income, no survey app is, and our wider look at whether survey apps are real or a time waste explains why the maths is the same across the category. If you want research work with clearer pay per hour, read our guide to Prolific eligibility from India, and if PayPal is the sticking point, compare routes in PayPal vs Payoneer vs Wise for Indians.

One more thing, said straight. AttaPoll never asks you for money. If someone on WhatsApp or Telegram sends you an “AttaPoll task” that requires a deposit, an upgrade or a recharge to unlock earnings, that is not AttaPoll, and it is the pattern covered in our Telegram task scam guide. Do not pay, and report it on 1930.

Frequently asked questions

Is AttaPoll survey app safe to use in India?

It is a registered UK company, AttaPoll Ltd, active on the Companies House register as of 3 October 2026, and it never asks users for money. It does collect location, device and personal information, as its Play Store data safety section states, so read the privacy policy before you sign up.

AttaPoll ka minimum withdrawal kitna hai?

AttaPoll puts it at around $3, calculated in your local currency, and says it varies by country and payment method. At Rs 96.32 to the dollar on 2 October 2026 that is about Rs 289 before any PayPal conversion margin.

Can I withdraw AttaPoll money to UPI or Paytm?

Not directly, going by AttaPoll’s India help page, which names PayPal and gift cards. Money reaches your Indian bank account through PayPal, which may ask for additional KYC before it accepts the payment.

Do you get paid if AttaPoll screens you out of a survey?

No. AttaPoll’s help page says rewards are not given for time spent in a survey, only for responses the survey creator accepts as complete and valid.

AttaPoll account band kyun ho jaata hai?

AttaPoll’s terms allow it to close an account for multiple accounts, VPN or script use, failed quality checks such as attention questions and timers, or six months of inactivity. Users who report closures in reviews often say no reason was given.

Is the AttaPoll referral bonus worth chasing?

It pays 10 percent of a referred friend’s survey earnings, and only for friends in the same country. On a minimum of about $3, that bonus is small, which is worth remembering when a review page leads with its own referral code.
